Dear Gilbert family,
As you might imagine the Rouleau family is very saddened by the death of your dad. Practically family, we will forever cherish all the memories that go along with growing up together (trips to the dump, snowstorm sleepovers, sledding and skating and games of ‘kick the can’ until the whistle or the bell!). We are all in some way shaped by this extremely talented, well-read, well-travelled wonderful man. How fitting it will be to have him laid to rest in a place near and dear to all of us.

John was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed by all. I was always amazed by his vast knowledge of ships and how he knew where everything was in his office. Godspeed!

So much of what I have accomplished in my life professionally....and even personally...I owe to Jack. I am absolutely certain that Jack is now sitting at a desk, surrounded by all manner of people.....smoking his pipe and telling all manner of fun stories to the assembled masses.....anyone who has known him or worked with him has been blessed. Thank you for all you did for me.....
