Kenneth Raymond Church

Ken, 64 years of age, passed June 9th In Nanaimo. Ken Is predeceased by his parents Gladys & Raymond Church. Ken Is survived by his wife Judie (nee Brausen), sons Derek & Sam (Thea), sisters Linda and Diane (Fernando), in-laws Darlyne & Robert Griffiths, grandchildren Cole, Connor & Kelsea, many nephews & nieces, and 12 tiny paws. He married the love of his life Judie in June of 1970 and they moved to Nanaimo In 1983. Ken and Judie owned and operated the Country Club Barber Shop from 1983-2007. They opened Hair Mates Barber's and Stylists in 2000. Ken was laid to rest Sunday, June 16th, 2013 surrounded by his family. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Colin Walker, VIHA, Palliative Care Unit at NRGH, for their extraordinary care during this emotional and difficult time. We would also like to thank our staff family and friends for all their well wishes and support.
