My condolences to the Rosenberg Family, I had the pleasure of meeting Ira back in the mid 70's. I would enjoy discussing the values of pre-owned vehicles, and often he would purchase Toyotas from me for resale at his dealership. I was amazed how fast the Ira Motor Group grew. Always enjoyed talking to him at the auctions. He treated all with respect, truly a gentleman. Ira, You will be remember, Richard Neckers

Please accept my sympathy at this time of loss for a man who surpassed one's wildest dreams with his passion and love of people in his achievements through the automotive world and beyond to give help to others in need.

Judy, David, Brian and Lori , My heart is so heavy to hear of your loss. Ira was an amazing man -- who gave me my first real job back at Danvers Toyota .. After a few nervous days as a new employee, I realized I had not just started a new job, but I became a family member! This is how The Rosenberg Family treated their employees! How wonderful are my memories of the entire family working in and around the office. Judy, with 3 adorable little ones , Saul and Joe in and out and even the dog... my love for you all still lives on as I always share my memories of your amazing family with my children and grandchildren. Ira was no only a successful business man, but a loving friend to all. My love and prayers ... Jo Anne Call

When I was a teenager, I believe in 1964, my Dad took me to Seacrest to help him buy a car. To this day, I remember and have frequently commented how Ira treated us with respect, dignity, and friendliness. I always have and always will remember him with fondness. He knew and practiced how people should be treated. Continued blessings on Ira and his family!

Dear Judy,
My love and prayers are with you and your family in the loss of a wonderful human being, your devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. I only got to see Ira at the Malden High School Reunions. He supported all the classmates that couldn't afford to attend the reunions. He loved to reminisce the good old days at Malden High School. We were a special group of classmates. We worked hard to get good grades, go to college, serve our country, and made our parents proud of who we became today, Ira, not only became a successful business man, he gave back so much to the community in appreciation of what he had. Ira, you will be missed by so many people who knew and loved you. Rest in peace, my dear friend and classmate.

Ira was very charismatic and when he asked if I would organize the 55th Malden High School Reunion for the Class of 1955, I could not refuse him. Barbara Rosen was my Co-Chair and together we organized an entire weekend for our classmates: a Chinese Banquet at Kowloon Restaurant on Friday night; Saturday morning Ira hired a mini-bus to take classmates to Malden High to meet the Principal, Dana Brown, and view the renovations to the school, then a trip to Quincy Market; Saturday evening was our Banquet at the Sheraton (Ira hired the DJ and Comedian, provided the Cheese and Fruit) and dancing was enjoyed by all; Sunday Brunch was at the Hilltop Steak House. It was a wonderful time for our classmates to visit and create more great memories of our time at Malden High. Ira will always be in our hearts!
Judy, we send you and your family our heart-felt sympathy on your loss.
Much love,

This world was such a better place to have had Ira in it. In 1983, upon returning from my stint in the Army, I was hired to answer the Customer Assistance Phone for the New England Zone Of Oldsmobile Division. In an industry that was owned by domestic manfacturers and dealer networks, customers were lost in the big three's battle for sales and profit supremacy. (This climate led to some tough but needed lemon laws to teach manufacturers to take care of our customers) Ira Oldsmobile of Danvers was a different drummer. They were right at the top of the vehicle and service sales lists, but also were at the top of the Customer Satisfaction Index list - this was almost unheard of from a volume dealer. No high powered consultants or secret formulas caused this, it all stemmed from the humanity and genuine respect Ira had for all people. A real family man, (for years he had his elderly father sitting at a desk right beside him in his office) his friends and relations were everything to him. Goodbye Ira, thank you for all you did for my company. The world lost a real mensch this week

Words will never be enough to express my love for Ira and his family. Many years ago, this man took me under his wing and always showed me love and affection. I can still hear him bellow, "Mr. Jay how are you? What's doing?" Always concerned and caring about how others were doing. That was Ira Rosenberg. All of the accolades and tributes are more than deserved.
To Judy, David, Brian, Lori and their families, I extend my deepest sympathy. A few wonderful people touch our lives and my #1 will always be this man. Much love is sent your way.
