KONG, William 'Willie'
William 'Willie' Kong passed away on 1/28/2014 in Elk Grove, CA. He was born on 6/17/1928 in San Francisco, CA, but had been a longtime resident of Sacramento. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Kong, his parents, Kong Kam Wa and Kong Lai Shee; brothers, Harry and Jimmie Gong; and sister, Mabel Fong, brothers-in-law, Wilbur Fong and Sherman Gin and sister-in-law Grace Gin. He is survived by his brothers, Edward and Lawrence Kong, sisters, Susan Kong, Daisy Kwan, Helen Jow, sisters-in-law, Tiko Gong, June Kong, Mary Fong, MaryAnn Chun, Louise Chan, Victoria Mar, Ann Dohn Fong, and Janet Mock, brothers-in-law, David Kwan, George Jow, Edward Chun, Gene Chan, Homer Mar, David Fong, Douglas Mock and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and, nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
Private family service and interment were held on February 8, 2014. Remembrances in his name can be made to charities of your choice.
