We send our condolences to the Kemp family. I have many fond memories of Wally welcoming us to his house when my girls were little to wander the back yard at Christmas time to pick out a tree! I always enjoyed his warm welcoming smile and kind manner whenever we had the opportunity to get together. He was a talented man who enjoyed sharing his projects and knowledge with others. I will miss seeing him around various events in Norwell.

Dr. Kemp,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dad was my pal as a little girl. We loved to work in the yard together at our home in Hingham. Always interested in land conservation.
I lived in Iran as a toddler, long before things went south. My love of travel and high, dry lands may have influenced my move to Taos NM. Playing in the irrigation ditches still, growing pasture now. I am so thankful for all the experiences growing up. Sailing, skiing, horseback riding at Briggs Stable in Hanover. Grandparents home and the sheep. Stitching my wounds at the clinic. A well rounded man. His passion wood and making things from wood. If his spirit could rest in a finely finished wood burl he would be found there.
