Diane Roy

Diane T. Roy, 84, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Normand A. Roy. Born in Nashua, NH, she was the daughter of the late W. Earl and Alice (Lintott) Thomas. She was educated in Nashua schools, graduated from Nashua High School and Nashua Business College. Diane has been a resident of Westborough since 2011 previously living in South Yarmouth. She was a member and past president of the South Yarmouth Garden Club and a member of the Cape Cod Symphony. She was a volunteer at the VA Hospital, was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by one sister, Zatae T. Ross of Westborough, MA, and nieces and nephews, Cynthia and Mark Sweetser of Holliston, MA, Jade and Kyle Meath of Northborough, MA, Kurt Ross of Westford, MA, Ryan and Chris Ross of Westford, MA, Mark and Linda Fraser of Fullerton, CA, Lance and Paulette Fraser of Hollis, NH, Jade and Michael Tyler of Hudson, NH, Cathy Edmonds of Merrimac, NH, Eric Fraser of Herndon, VA and Zaeta Monfet of Ft. Myers, FL. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, at 10:00 A.M. in the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua, NH. A calling hour will precede the funeral on Thursday from 9 to 10 A.M.
