Jonathan, yesterday marked 1 year since we last said I love you and have a good day and see you tonight. Bilbo and I and Tom too still love you so much and we miss you terribly. You remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.

Jonathan, It has now been 5 months since I heard you speak and saw you smile and heard you laugh. It has been 5 months since we said goodbye that Tuesday morning, exchanged I love you's and see you tonight's. I love you Son, I miss you so much. I miss you here everyday. I so often turn to you to say something and realize you are not here. You are still my wonderful boy. Love and Miss you Always!

Jon, I know we drifted apart the years after we joined the military but you will always be remembered as someone who changed my life for the better. You befriended me when I needed it most and you will be fondly remembered and eternally missed.

We have lost a great and shining light in our lives. Getting through this will be and is extremely difficult. I have turned my focus to thoughts of all the wonderful things Jonathan is experiencing now. I feel grateful he has been spared from all the tough parts of this life but freed to enjoy peace love and happiness beyond what we can know in this world. He was on the verge of starting a new chapter in his life here, with the potential for a career versus a job and being able to earn a living income that would have put many more opportunities in his path. But I know that where he is now that new chapter has already begun and the opportunities he has now far surpasses what he hoped to have in life.
