I'm sending this candle as a bright light to hold onto during this season-thinking of Cam.
My heart aches for you all and hope that you can find peace and joy in this holiday even if its fleeting-please know so many of us care.
Let this light be a reminder that Cam is with you in spirit and the warmth of the candle's fire is him surrounding all of you.
Hugs always,

What a pleasure it was to have known this beautiful young man. His kind-hearted nature shone through everything he did and if you were lucky enough to have him as a friend, then his steadfast and gentle nature gave you a friendship you will always cherish.
When we first met Cameron he was one of a group of boys press-ganged into showing us and our son, Duncan, around his new school 6 years ago. Standing awkwardly at the back of the group and trying not to be noticed was this tall red-haired lad whose neck tie was loose, whose white shirt was not tucked in and who gave every appearance of having been running, playing and enjoying his break between lessons.
As we were taken on our tour by the group of boys, it was Cameron who talked with us and with Duncan. This gentle boy restored our faith after a horrendous few years for Duncan at another school. He gave us so much hope in that first meeting, by his manner and his character. It spoke of honour and courage to overcome. It exuded humour and charm and kindness. And our impression of him that day was right on the money. He went on to become one of Duncan's best friends and as such was instrumental in giving him stability after the turmoil of the past.
He had a presence about him which was tangible and he was a joy to spend time with. He loved his cricket, his golf, his pancakes and his friends! Although he may not have realised it, love shone through everything he did. Quite simply he was a super human.
Cameron was a credit to his family and each one of them should be proud in their part in forging such an unforgettable young man.
