We are very proud of our cousin Daniel. He was a wonderful man who raised lovely children. It is certainly no wonder because my aunt and uncle were very special loving people as well. I think everyone who knew him would agree.

Dan O'Connell will always be remembered as "A GENTLE MAN OF CLASS"...... My daughter Laura married his son Mark... My brother ANTHONY and DAN were classmates from the seventh to the 12th grade at Boston Latin school, at the same time I was at Boston English high school.... Everyone who knew Dan respected him, for he clearly hewed a path with there was none, and left a trail for his Family to follow.
Dan's memory will always live in the hearts of all who knew him.. for he was truly a Standout Gentleman.... I will Always remember Dan as...
"A ROSE IN A HAYFIELD"

For the good ship O'Connell, Dan was truly the ballast that kept her steady in the roughest waters. Always reliable, never failing. May he rest in peace, and rise in glory.
