Our condolences to the Russell family on Lew's passing. Early memories of mine are from the WBA (Wayland Business Association) days and community meetings. A tall man, Lew Russell was noticeable in a crowd. He enjoyed a good discussion, socializing, and he had a great sense of humor. Community and friends will miss him, and his energy and focus. Especially on matters of practicality.

Lew was a wonderful friend and a huge contributor to Wayland through his many services to the Town.
