Norman Slawsby, Age 90, of Needham, on Monday, February 1, 2016. For over 65 years, beloved husband of Arlene (Farber) Slawsby. Devoted son of the late Harry and Rose Slawsby. Cherished father of Debra Bergman & her husband Michael, and Sharon Hart & her husband Trevor. Adored grandfather of Allison Rapp & her husband Jared, Gregory Bergman, Jaison Hart and Kyle Hart, and great-grandfather of Zack Rapp. Dear brother of the late Herbert Slawsby & his wife Sophie, and the late Alfred Slawsby and brother-in-law of Arnold & Carol Farber, and the late Marilyn Yogel & her surviving husband Martin & his wife Harriet. Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Thursday, February 4 at 11:30am. Burial in Temple Emeth Memorial Park, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury. Following burial, memorial observance will be at the home of Debra & Michael Bergman until 8pm and continue Friday from 12-4pm.
