Dear Neal, Sheila, Marcy ,girls and Doherty family, We are truly saddened to learn of the passing of Brendan. We lived in the Doherty home on East Broadway for ten years so we got to know the Doherty family well. The love that Mr. & Mrs. Doherty had for their family and they for them was evident. We miss Brendan already, he was such a good friend you could pick up the phone and call him and catch up like no time was missed. This is such a tragedy, and we are praying for the whole Doherty family at this difficult time.

To the whole Doherty family - my deepest condolences to you all. I remember Brendan from Boy Scouts and have great memories of him getting under his mosquito netting and shouting to the world, "Let it rain!" - his spirit was indomitable and his humor was infectious. It was a very sad day to hear of Brendan's passing. Being a co-worker at PNPS he joyfully recounted the adventures of the twins and Marcy whom he loved with all his heart. I will remember his eternal smile and quick wit with jokes and kidding around as well as his quick study of plant systems and his always willing to help any co-workers out to get the assigned work done. He will be greatly missed. May he find peace in his new home in Heaven and be a guardian angel to his girls as they grow. You have my deepest sympathy on your loss of someone taken too soon from this Earth.
