Francis S. Fitzpatrick

Francis Sean Frank Fitzpatrick, age 60, of Weymouth, died peacefully on June 15, 2017 surrounded by the love, comfort and care of his family at the Turkey Hill Hospice House in Hingham following a short illness. He was a skilled machinist, and had worked for Eastern Machine & Design Corp. of Hanson. Frank had a life-long love of sailing, and for more than 40 years owned a 1946 Ralph Winslow Northeast Challenger bowed sloop which he sailed out of Hull. When he fell ill, he made the difficult decision to donate his pride and joy to the International Yacht Restoration School in Newport, R.I., who have since restored her to her former glory from stem to stern so that future generations may enjoy her. Son of the late Francis J. and Barbara A. (Cousens) Fitzpatrick. Dear brother of Karen Villanova of Marshfield, Diane Scott and her husband Jeffrey of Plymouth and Mark Fitzpatrick and his wife Kelley, also of Plymouth. Cherished uncle of Lindsey Ryan, Tony Villanova, Kelsey Scott, and Michael and Amber Fitzpatrick. Great uncle of Ava and Juliet Ryan. Also survived by his good friend Jim Rieneck and his family.
