Marion Reeves

Marion (Davis) Reeves a lifelong Winchester resident died peacefully at home on September 8, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Taunton, MA on October 28, 1920. After graduation from Windsor Academy she went on to Bennett Jr. College where she majored in Interior Design. After marrying the love of her life, Charles P. Reeves they resided in Winchester, MA where they raised 5 children. During their fifty years together they lived a very active and social life. They were members of the Winchester Country Club where they enjoyed golf and curling. Marion enjoyed bridge, needlepoint and knitting. She was also an avid reader. She was an active member of Winton Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Mayflower Society and a volunteer at the Winchester Hospital, Senior Center and Lifeline. Above all else, Marion loved her life as a wife, mother, and homemaker. Survived by 4 children: Meredith Nightingale and her husband Barry Blanchard, Victoria and her husband Brian Leffingwell, Charles Reeves Jr. and his wife Robin, and Elly and her husband John Diamont. Also survived by 4 grandchildren: Mario Colucci Jr, Zachary Nightingale, Meredith and Kylie Diamont, great grandsons: Leo and Dominic Colucci. Marion was predeceased by her loving husband, Charlie, and her daughter Kimberly. Marion will be deeply missed and we will forever be proud to call her Mom.
