The quiet and very kind voice of Ruth will always stay with me. I first heard it when I applied to work at the Harbor Light as a photographer in 1973 or so, and after being given the job, I heard it many, many times thereafter. Ruth was just always upbeat and positive. She was an optimist to her very core, and she always made me feel good about my work and any interest
of mine. I always felt important and special around her. That was her gift to us all, she made us feel special and important to her. I will always feel enriched from having known Ruth. My deepest sympathy to all of the family for the loss. I’m sure you will miss her very much. I will too.
