Brent McCormick

Brent McCormick passed away suddenly on May 21st at home living the life he loved.
Brent was an avid outdoorsman, firearm enthusiast, and traveler. He never forgot to say he loved you and was one of the most devoted friends. He was a beloved partner, brother, father, grandfather, and friend who will be so missed.
Brent worked at too many vocations to list but was probably most known for his time in the firearm department at both D&R Sports and Kent Arms. He had a knack for buying and selling and over the last few years he left the 9 – 5 world managing to make a living doing what he loved selling on his eBay site and buying for Polk Auction Company of New Paris, IN.
Brent is survived by his loving partner, Maria Albright, two sons, Justin McCormick (James) of Sarasota, FL and Jordan McCormick (Brittany) of Allegan, MI, one treasured grandson, Liam McCormick, Cody Boysen who was a son in all but name, two siblings, Tresa Miller (Douglas) of Lakeland, FL and Bruce McCormick of Allegan, two cherished nieces, Amanda Miller (Holly) of Winter Haven, FL and Heather Hsueh (Eric) of Guam and their son Winston, nephew Ryan Searles along with many cousins, and two heartbroken dogs.
A celebration of life is planned on June 6th from 3pm to 7pm at The Gathering, LLC, 1058 Lincoln Rd, Allegan, MI 49010. For those long-term Allegan folks that's the former Eagle Creek Golf Course.
Brent hated getting dressed up so please consider attending in camouflage or your favorite snarky t-shirt.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to your local conservation club, the Holland Kennel Club (for use in providing law enforcement canines), the Allegan Community Foundation for scholarships for criminal justice students, or to Liam's education fund.
