Norman Bashore Obituary

Norman G. Bashore, 78, passed away at his home in Willits on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
Born December 18, 1933, he was a native of San Diego who had been in our community for the past 55 years, including a 7-year stay in the sawmill town of Wolf Creek.
For 25 years Norman was a union organizer with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners. An organizer and coach of the first Pop Warner football team in Willits, he also enjoyed traveling and golfing, but mostly 'fishing.'
Norman is survived by his wife, Graciela; sons Wayne of Willits and Bruce of Sweden; step-daughters Blanca of Reno, Nevada; Marina of New Jersey; Romelia of Arizona; Lillian, Emma and Elsa, all of Reno; step-sons Efrian and Santos, both of Reno; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Anker-Lucier Mortuary.
