Henry (Bud) Boucher
September 1, 1947 - January 24, 2021
Henry (Bud) Boucher, age 73, of Wilton, CT died suddenly and peacefully January 24, 2021 , with his loving family by his side. Born in Waterbury, Ct., September 1, 1947 he was the son of the late Henry and Mary Lawlor Boucher. He was the husband of Antonietta (Toni) Iannuzzi Boucher.
In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by his daughter Marie Boucher Berkley (Alan), two sons
Christopher Boucher (Courtney) and Jean-Paul Boucher ( Donna), four brothers, Dennis ( Diane), Paul Denice), John( Theresa) , Scott ( Dottie) , a sister Anita McCafferty, brother-in-law Guy Iannuzzi ( Linda) and six grandchildren.
Bud proudly serviced as a Captain in the US Air Force and later worked as an energy, finance, insurance and healthcare management consultant. After a long and distinguished career as a senior partner for some of the country's top consulting firms, he headed a public company while also owning a small Wilton business. During this time, he worked tirelessly to promote and fundraise for Wilton's civic organizations. He gave long hours to the American Legion Post 86 serving as an officer, was the Trackside Teen Board Treasurer, Wilton Rotary founder and 2-time President, and a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus District Officer. He was especially proud of starting the Rotary's annual carnival to the delight of area children. But mostly he was a dedicated and supportive father, grandfather and husband who is deeply loved and cherished.
The Boucher family is grateful for the community's outpouring of support and expression of sympathy during this difficult time.
A socially distanced and masked wake will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the limited seating service A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Rd, Wilton. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning with a service from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. A mask is required for admission to church. Dear Toni, I was saddened to hear of Bud’s death. We’d been together through grammar school, Swift Junior High, Sacred Heart High and St. Michael’s and working at First National Stores. We were also Alter Boys together and I believe even Cub Scouts. I regret that we lost contact after college. Please pass my condolences on to your family and to Anita and Dennis.

Our condolences to Toni and family. What a talented man. Successful in whatever business or endeavor he worked on. Last time we had a chance to talk was awhile back. His latest business was doing home renovations. We asked him to make some suggestions on a small project we had. He planned everything, and made sure it was done right. We had time to catch up on old times. A great veteran, who loved his country’, and always showed it. RIP our good friend.
