Alan was a Sig Ep Fraternity brother and were in the same Alpha Kappa pledge class... I have a lot of early fond memories of our times together during this period. Rest in Peace!

A irreplaceable friend, a spirited, but calm, conversationalist, a Texan through and through in old school manner, and one smiling when you arrived and followed you out the door giving the feeling he wanted the time with you to linger and linger.....that was Alan. One felt he was one you could laugh and cry with as life´s tribulations came our way. Loving Jan and Natalie.as the embodiment of his whole life, he cherished his family and felt God had blessed him beyond expectations. Oh, and did he love labs? Over the years Alan would come to mind, much more often during this recent time. Miss him, yep, as all his friends and family will say, but loss of a powerful man, a good man and a dear husband, father and friend is truly irreplaceable. God speed friend Alan
