Edna Goodman Obituary
She married William F. (Bill) Goodman on November 1, 1953 in Corpus Christi, Texas. They were married for 54 years before Bill passed away in 2008. They spent their retirement years in Wimberley, Texas. Edna moved to Austin a few years after Bill's death and continued to live a very full life in a retirement village.
Edna was a social butterfly and made great friends wherever she lived. She lived to dance and loved music. In her later years she spent lots of time watching sports on TV, focusing on the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns.
Her best roles ever were mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by sons Reece (and wife Leslie) and Brett (and wife Ana) as wells as grandchildren Hunter, Riley, Grant and Megan and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Pennington Funeral Home in San Marcos, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00. Burial will be at San Marcos City Cemetery following the funeral services.
Memorials may be given to the Chapel in the Hills church in Wimberley, Wimberley EMS or the charity of your choice.

Gosh, how I love working with Ms. Edna!
Her positive energy added to the lives of the Residents of Deer Creek!
She was a dedicated volunteer, and a fantastic human!
I am happy to know she lived a long life. I am sure she managed to bring happiness to all she encountered.
