William Buse Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William "Lee" Buse, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who left us on July 31, 2024. Born on October 2, 1953, to John Thomas and Beryl Buse, Lee brought joy, laughter, and kindness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Lee was a larger-than-life figure whose humor, compassion, and loving nature made him truly unforgettable. As the third of eight children, he learned early on the importance of family and carried this value throughout his life. His generous spirit and warm heart endeared him to many, and he was always ready with a joke or a helping hand.

In 1990, Lee moved his family to Wimberley, Texas, where they made their home on the banks of the beautiful Blanco River. There, he spent countless hours fishing, playing his guitar and swimming with friends, finding peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. The river house was his forever home, a place filled with love and laughter.

Despite his deep roots in Wimberley, Lee was a man of adventure. As a dedicated geologist, his work took him and his family to various corners of the globe, providing them with a rich tapestry of experiences and memories. He gifted his family with the wonders of living overseas and the excitement of traveling to the far ends of the earth.

Lee was a cornerstone of the local community in Wimberley, known and loved by many long-time locals. He had countless friends and was a familiar face at Wimberley Texan Football and Volleyball games, where his children won multiple state championships. His presence and support were a staple at these events, and he was deeply involved in the community.

Lee is survived by his loving sons, Bryan and Michael, and his cherished daughters, Magen and Grace. His legacy includes five amazing grandchildren: Cooper, Carli, River, Jaylen, and Rio. He will be dearly missed by his seven siblings, extended family, and the many friends who were like family to him.

In this time of sorrow, we take comfort in the many happy memories we shared with Lee. His legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will continue to live on in our hearts. Rest in peace, Lee. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
