Dorothy Barlow Obituary
She was born March 9, 1922 in Beloit, Wis., to the late John and Minnie (Dahl) Vaughan. She was a homemaker. She married Lunes Barlow January 31, 1942. They moved to Indiana in 1971, where he worked for Ball State University for 10 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory several nieces and nephews; a special sister-in-law, Betty Vaughan of Wisconsin; two special angels and caregivers, Alice and Paul Franks of Portland. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Lunes (1981); two brothers, Everett "Wimpy" Vaughan and Donald "Shorty" Vaughan.
A service to celebrate Dorothy's life is 2 p.m. Saturday at Thornburg Memorial Chapel, Parker City. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Maxville.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember one hour prior to services Saturday, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonshookfuneralhomes.com.
