Joseph Ashbrook Obituary

Joseph Taylor Ashbrook, 21, of Winchester, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at his home.
He was born January 29, 1995 in Greenville, Ohio, to Chris B. and Lori Perkins Ashbrook. Joseph lived in Castine, Ohio, and Loudon, Tenn., and grew up in Centerville. He owned and operated his own handyman business, Certainly Done Right. Joseph had a big heart and liked helping others. He was a protector of his family and friends and was proud to be a momma's boy. Joseph enjoyed fishing and cooking. He loved his little girl more than anything.
Survivors include his wife, Megan Hoover Ashbrook of Richmond; a daughter, Karlyssa Jo Ashbrook; his father, Chris B. (Melissa Widau) Ashbrook of Winchester; his mother, Lori Perkins of Winchester; step-children, Bryson and Rowen; a sister, Jazmyne (Travis) McMillan of Centerville; nieces, Gabriella, Gracelynn, Phoebe and Eve; a nephew, Travis II; an aunt, Kathy Varble and her family; other extended family members; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services are 5 p.m. Saturday at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, Richmond, with Pastor John Maples officiating.
Visitation is two hours prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.doanmillsfuneralhome.com.
