Michael Gard Obituary

Michael A. Gard of Troutdale Ore., formerly Winchester, passed away November 2, 2015 from lung cancer.
He was born to Lois Gard, who survives, and Marion Gard (deceased) of Winchester. He was the oldest of five children and his three sisters Susan Bousman (Keith) of Union City Ind., Cheryl Study (Ric) of Winchester and Jody Pearson (Ron) of Jasonville who survive.
He and his wife Joanne, who survives, had just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on September 6. He had two children, Eirik Gard (Carolyn) and Dawn Gard-Laine and five grandchildren; Austin Gard, Raven Laine, Kaleigh Gard, Adam Gard and Tyson Laine. He umpired baseball and refereed basketball and worked in insurance. He enjoyed being involved with his family, classic cars, golfing and fishing.
His brother, Larry Gard, passed away November 5, 2015.
Funeral arrangements were made through the Crown Memorial Centers Cremation & Burial of Troutdale, Ore. A Memorial Service will be held in Troutdale Ore., November 19, 2015

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing - I worked with him at Mutual of Enumclaw for many years - he will be missed - I'm so very sorry for your loss.
