Charles Schmidt Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Schmidt, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 4, 2025, from a heart attack.
Born September 3, 1969, Chuck was the son of Margaret "JoAnn" Gehler and Robert Lee Sellers, and was raised by Otto Schmidt. He was a proud member of the Winneconne High School Class of 1987. Chuck will be remembered for his generous heart, quick wit, and deep love for family.
Chuck is survived by his mother, Margaret; siblings, Rick, Tim, Tom, Dan, Stephen Schmidt, and Shauna Kruse; uncle, Mike Barton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David Schmidt; and an aunt, Kay Cooper.
Chuck had a passion for fishing, fast cars, and boating-he found joy on the water and behind the wheel.
The family will hold a private service to honor Chuck's life.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to help with burial expenses.
Chuckie, may you find peace and happiness. You will be deeply missed.
