Raymond Schwandner Obituary

Raymond E. Schwandner, age 89, of Appleton, formerly of Winneconne, passed away on Thursday September 5, 2025 at Cherry Meadows. He was born on September 9, 1935 to Erwin and Florence Boaman Schwandner. Ray married the love of his life Merwin Gail Wentzel on September 7, 1957.
Ray worked as a Ready Mix Truck driver for 30 years at 4 X corporation. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing and Log Creek Camp for 63 years.
He is survived by his daughters Sally(Paul) Bellile, and Sharon(Jim) DeGroot, and one grandson Steven(Fiancée Eda) Degroot.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2024.
Private family services will be held and burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in the Town of Poygan.
A memorial has been established.
The family would like to thank Ruth, Angie, and Britany for their loving care they given to Raymond.
