Grace Marie (Tibesar) Stark
WINONA - Grace Marie (Tibesar) Stark, 94 of Winona, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Benedictine – Winona, Saint Anne Campus.
Grace was born December 9, 1929, in Winona, MN, to Irene (Stephan) and Felix Tibesar. On August 18, 1951, she married William Emil Stark in Minneiska, MN. Together they raised three sons: Bob, Steven, and Jim; and a daughter, Nancy, who preceded her in death.
Both Grace and her husband, William, were members of the St. Casimir Church for 70 years. She was a member of the St. Casimir Quilters for more than 25 years and served on the church funeral committee. Grace worked as a secretary for Town and Country Bank (now known as WNB Financial).
Grace is survived by her three children: Bob (Mary Ann) Stark, Ely, MN; Steven (Debbie) Stark, Rochester, MN; and Jim (Cindy), Albert Lea, MN; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and daughter, Nancy.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Winona with The Very Reverend Mark McNea officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Minneiska, MN. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
