To the family of Barbara K. Phillips,

I extend my deepest condolences. Soror Barbara was always such a strong presence of faith and encouragement. When she learned I was coming to Howard University to work on my Ph.D. she was so encouraging and provided me with names of other sorors to contact in the Washington, D.C. area. I am confident of this one thing, the Lord is still able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ever imagine. He will continue to comfort you in the days that lie ahead.
