ADER WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Baxter Craven Ader June 24, 1910 - July 07, 2011 Mr. Baxter Craven Ader, 101, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Ader was born June 24, 1910 in Davidson County, NC to the late David Earl and Eliza Frances Walser Ader. He was retired from RJR Tobacco Corp. and loved gardening and carpentry. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ader was preceded by his wife, Thelma Woosley, four brothers and four sisters. Surviving to cherish his memory is his son, Forrest Ader (Juanita) of Winston-Salem, three grandchildren; Shere Ader Blum Shidel, David Forrest Ader (Connie), Anthony Franz Ader (Margie), seven great-grandchildren, Blakely Blum Ricco (John), Ashley Blum Binkowski (Erik), Courtney Blum Potemra (Colan), Heather Ader Johnson (Colt), Ellis Craven Ader, Spencer David Ader, Emily Frances Ader ; four great-great grandchildren; Chamberlain Ricco, Lillyanna Ricco, Olivia Ricco, Apollo Johnson and a great-great grand baby Binkowski due in August. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Friedberg Moravian Church Graveyard officiated by Rev. Jimmie Newsome. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Hospice of W-S/Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
