CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Bertha Haag Waters, 91, passed away Friday, July 15, 2005, of complications from a stroke. She was a resident of the Carriage Club in Charlotte. She was born Oct. 25, 1913, and lived her early life in the Texas Hill country. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Louise and George Clover of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Randy Clover and his wife, Cindy, of Oldwick, N.J., Jennifer Clover of St. Mary's City, Md., and Drew Clover and his wife, Jeanie, of Charlotte; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Catherine and Jessica Clover; and a sister, Ida Schlather of Kerrville, Texas. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at the Carriage Club Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
