Bobby Hobson Obituary

HOBSON YADKINVILLE - Yadkinville Bobby Richard Hobson, 72, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at his home. He was born May 27, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Avery and Mayme Collins Hobson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Derrick Todd Hobson; and brother, Thomas Anthony Hobson. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Martha Brown Hobson; and son, Jeffrey Brian (Amy) Hobson. His Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Deep Creek Friends by the Rev. Georgiana Satterfield. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. He will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the Service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Memorials can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267, Yadkinville, NC 27055. Online condolences can be made at www.gentry funeralservice.com.
