Johnson, Rev. Brian Patrick

April 13, 1970 - January 4, 2021

Rev. Brian Patrick Johnson, 50, went home to be with his Lord early Monday morning, January 4, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. Brian was born on April 13, 1970 in Forsyth County to the late Jimmy and Brenda Fallin Johnson. He was employed by Hanes Brands and was the Pastor at Wayside Baptist Church for 8 years. Brian was a loving father, husband, brother, and grandfather. Brian was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sandy Chapman Johnson; 3 children, Hannah Williams (Dylan), Andrew Johnson, and Summer Johnson; granddaughter, Harper Williams; brother, Marty Johnson; niece, Brooke Johnson; and a nephew, Hunter Johnson. There will be a 1:00 pm celebration of life held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Wayside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and facial coverings are required. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wayside Baptist Church: 120 Circle Drive, Walnut Cove, NC 27052.
