Bruce Pearman Obituary
August 7, 1953 - March 12, 2024
Bruce Delane Pearman, 70, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on August 7, 1953 to the late Cecil Pearman and Betty Pearman in Reidsville, NC. Bruce sold car parts before retiring in 2006. He loved hunting, fishing, racing a mini stock at Bowman Gray Stadium and Ace Speedway, and tending our land in Pinnacle. He loved his two daughters more than anything and adored his granddaughter. He was his granddaughter's childcare provider from the time she was two months old until she was eight years old (when covid began), and they were so close. He served in the Army from 1973 to 1976. He was preceded in death by his son Christopher Pearman. He is survived by his loving, broken-hearted wife, Melanie Pearman, and two broken-hearted daughters – Arielle and Courtney – daughter Arielle Pearman Wilson (Rob); granddaughter Diana; daughter Courtney Hubbard (Michael); sister Vickie Bridges; mother-in-law Louise Welborn; sister-in-law Lisa Howell (Mark) and brother-in-law Stan Welborn, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church with Reverend Eric Tang officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your charity of choice.
