Mr. Cecil Larry Adams, age 72, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He was born August 5, 1949, in Forsyth County, to the late Zeno Jack Adams, and Gladys Marie Cline Adams. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the American Legion Post #505. Cecil enjoyed watching Bible prophecy programs. He also enjoyed puzzles, old cars, and participating in parades representing the American Legion Post #505. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Donna Hutchens Adams; his daughters, Lisa (Tim) Mitchell, LeAnn (Shannon) Hinshaw; Lori (Landon) Linville; grandchildren, Hannah (Tyler) West, JT Mitchell, Bethany Mitchell, Rebekah Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell, Nathan Mitchell, Lydia Mitchell, Philip Mitchell, Naomi Mitchell, Miles Hinshaw, Ashlyn Hinshaw, Lili Linville, great-grandson, Levi West; sister, Carol (Tom) Mock; brothers, David (Teresa) Adams, Roger (Brenda) Adams; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Northwood Baptist Church where he was a member. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Tim Webb and Dr. Allen Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Friends Cemetery with full military honors by Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family would like to thank the staff of Trellis Hospice and the Oncology Department at the Kernersville VA for the loving care shown to Cecil and his family.
