I never knew Chad as closely as some of you all, but I was well-acquainted with him from serving in the Fire/Rescue and EMS systems here in Forsyth County. I could tell that he was dedicated to his family and to his FF/EMT brothers and sisters.
To the family: God bless you during this difficult time. May He give you all strength to carry on and bless you with fond memories of Chad.
To the men and women of HPFD and Union-Cross Fire-Rescue: While there may be an empty place in your midst, know that God has blessed you with the privilege of knowing Chad. May God bless and protect you as you perform your dangerous duties during this difficult time! We will meet up with Chad again someday...

Dear Greene Family,
You all have been in our thoughts and prayers over the past four days and will remain there in the days, weeks and months to come. Chad's reputation as an excellent father, husband, son, friend and firefighter was something to be very proud of and we pray that it brings you some comfort during this difficult time. We know words cannot ease your pain, but please know we are so sorry for your loss.
