Charles Henry Roser Jr., known to his loved ones as Charlie, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023, in Clemmons, NC, at the age of 78. Born on February 9, 1945, in Malone, NY, Charlie lived a life filled with joy and cherished moments.

Charlie was strong in his faith, a fun-loving and a family-oriented man who found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. In his younger years he was a volunteer firefighter in Upstate New York. Following his move to NC, he was a dedicated salesman for Olympia office equipment throughout his career.

In his free time, Charlie enjoyed traveling far and wide, exploring new places, and creating unforgettable memories with his family and friends. His infectious laughter and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Charlie leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife Margaret Roser, his daughters Laura Sheets and Suzanne Hinde (Richard). He was a proud grandfather to Tiffany, Riley, Madison, and Hiatt, who brought him immense joy and laughter.

Charlie is also survived Brothers: Bill (Susan) Roser, Bob (Robbin) Roser. And Sisters: Carol(Phil) Suffredini, Marylou Roser(Rich), Brother-in-law Mike(Terry) Ward, Sister-in-Laws Pat Ward (Paula), Maureen Ward, and Diane Ward

He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews:

Rance, Ryan, Glenn, Sherry, Josh, Megan, Brian, Kevin, Andrea and Christopher. Heather, Natasha, Sean, Christopher, and Patrick

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charles Roser Sr. and Virginia Roser; Son-in-law, Kevin Sheets; Brother-in-laws John, Tim, and Tom Ward.

A funeral service to celebrate Charlie's life will be held on Wednesday, September 20th at 1 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Clemmons, NC. Following, there will be a celebration of life at Second and Green Tavern from 3 to 5 p.m. in Winston Salem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Memory of Charlie through diy.lls.org/cheerstocharlie. He found great pride in helping cancer research throughout the course of his treatments.

Charlie's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with him.
