Clarence Watson Obituary
Winston-Salem - Clarence Gilmer Watson, 88, died July 18, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 4, at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, 450 Metropolitan Dr., with visitation 45 minutes prior to service.

Lord have mercy, where do I start.....I sure loved Clarence! To make him laugh and smile made my day. Since the day I met him life was full of surprises, never a dull moment. I'm so grateful that I got the opportunity to met him and you Gladys! Y'all are truly great people and my friends. As long as I live I will never forget the two of you.

Gladys, you, Clarence, and your family have been in my prayers and will continue to be. I always loved to see Clarence's smile. Especially on the tour of Salemtowne residents to consignment shops when he found that nice suede jacket and it looked so good on him. I plan to visit with you today and will see you at the service tomorrow. Love to you and let's have lunch soon. I know the journey you are on. You are not alone and God be with you
