David Clark Obituary

CLARK WINSTON-SALEM - David Marshall Clark, age 66, died peacefully Monday, August 23, 2010. He was happily married for 39 years to Nancy Linville Clark, and together they shared a love of rodeo, horses, and good friends. David won many championship saddles and other rodeo awards during his long career in calf roping, bull dogging, and team roping. He was born February 3, 1944 to Amos and Mabel Parker Clark, and had three sons: David Jr., Jeff, and Kenny Clark; and two grandchildren: Fallon and Noah Clark. His father, Amos Clark; sister, Suzanne Clark; and brother, Steve Clark also survive him. His older brother, Amos Clark, Jr. preceded him in death. The family will have a private Memorial service, followed at a later date with a larger event to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the David Clark Memorial Fund, @ 709 Stewart Road Winston Salem, NC 27107. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
