Donald Myrum Obituary

Donald Wayne Myrum, 88, of East Bend, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Brighton Gardens.
Mr. Myrum was born November 10, 1936, in Zion, IL, to Henry Wayne Myrum and Beulah Wright Myrum. He was an avid reader, gardener, and woodworker, and always started his days with Scripture. Don was a pastor at Beach Bible in Beach Park, IL, for several years. More recently he was a member at Beck's Baptist Church where he served for many years as a Sunday School teacher. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Marlene Irma Myrum; and second wife, Sandra King Myrum; and his sister, Lila Bell.
Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Debbie Dubois (Denis), and Lori Stewart (Rick); two brothers, Dave Myrum, and Rodney Myrum (Marsha); one sister, Nancy Kinsman; six grandchildren, Dustin Dubois (Ashley), Sarah Beam (Nathan), Kayla Hicks (Alan), Michael Dubois, Amanda Stewart, and Trevor Dubois (Carley); and seven great-grandchildren, Lucas, Isabelle, Hailey, Micah, Eleanor, Luther, and Dexter.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2024, at Beck's Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Vaughan officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
