Dorothy Sigmond Obituary

SIGMOND KERNERSVILLE - Dorothy Agnes Sigmond, 87, was received into her Savior's arms on October 23, 2010 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. She was born to the late William C. and Agnes Elizabeth Yonke Dumm of West Lawn, PA. She was married to Irwin Sigmond of Wilmington, DE for 31 years until his death in 1982. She was a long time resident of Greensboro before moving to Kernersville in 1996. She was an avid shopper, a competitive bridge player, and a wonderful cook. Funeral services for Dorothy will be at St. John's Lutheran Church at 2415 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 27, Pastor Murr officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the church service, and also at the Kottlowski home in Kernersville, Tuesday, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. The family has requested a private interment at Guilford Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter, Tina L. and son-in-law, Nathan Kottlowski; Grandson, Nick C. Kottlowski; and Granddaughter, Brittany E. Kottlowski. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, in lieu of flowers. Online condolences can be made at www.lambeth troxlerfuneralhome.com. Lambeth-Troxler is assisting the Sigmond family.
