Mr. Dwayne Hughes, 63, passed away August 28, 2024.
A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Russell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Greater Community Missionary Baptist Church. The family visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Wednesday at the Church. Interment will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2024, in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. Online condolences can be made at www.russellfuneralservice.com (RUSSELL).

Dwayne was a dear friend and one I always kept in my memories. Still do. He wandered through my memory today and I just found out about his passing. He was and always will be a good friend. RIP Brother.
