Elaine Crews Obituary

CREWS WINSTON-SALEM Elaine Mary Crews Jan. 18, 1951 Dec. 10, 2011 Elaine Crews of Winston-Salem, went to celebrate with the Lord, Saturday, December 10, 2011 after an extended illness at Forsyth Medical Center. Elaine was born in Helena, MT and raised in Three Forks. She was employed by Pleasants Hardware and lastly as a florist with Bi-Lo Food Market. She was a member of Samaritan Baptist Church and loved her church family. Elaine was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Iris and Bob Fairweather; and a brother, Rob Fairweather. She is survived by husband, Bob Crews of the home; daughters, Brandi Haire (Jerry) and Tiffany Foltz; stepsons, Eddie Crews (Beth) and David Crews (Jacqueline); and the loves of her life, granddaughters, Kayla Perrell, Caitlin Foltz and Miranda Hutchens. Also surviving are sisters, Iris Ann Nelson (Andy Frazer) and Joyce Petty (Roger); brother-in-law, Gene Crews (Sally); and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Elaine's life will be held on Tuesday, December 13 at 7:00 P.M. at Samaritan Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the American Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or the National Kidney Foundation, 4819 Park Rd., Suite C, Charlotte, NC 28209. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
