Emily Wein Obituary

PFAFFTOWN - Mrs. Emily Hamilton Wein, 82, of Pfafftown, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, at Winston-Salem Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born March 2, 1924, in Forsyth County to William R. and Ella Transou Hamilton. Surviving are her husband, Theodore W. Wein of the home; a daughter, Deborah Wein Smith and husband Donald H. of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a son, John Mark Wein of Winston-Salem; a daughter-in-law, Karen Wein-Gordon of Westfield; two granddaughters, Bethany Flemings and husband Phil of Orlando, Fla., and Alissa Joslin and husband Stan of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two grandsons, John Andrew Wein of UNC Chapel Hill and Mark H. Smith of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a great-granddaughter, Isabella Joslin of Cheyenne, Wyo. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Forsyth Memorial Park, with the Rev. Doug Rights officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Eugene Paschold and his nurse, Paula Norman, and to Dr. John G. Roach for their care and support.
