I've only known Everett for the past 6-7 years when I started in the Wellness program and the infusion center at Forsyth Hosital. We talked of family, grandkids, solved some of the world problems and of course commiserated about the hassle of using oxygen while still being glad we had the O2 available. He's been a friend and such an inspiration to me...such grit and determination when we knew he was struggling and always with a pleasant word and smile for everybody. My heart reaches out to you and may God bless you all.

My heart and prayers go out to each of you. I worked with Lisa and I know that he must have been a good man to have such a caring daughter. Lisa, please let me know if I can do anything for you and your family.

Everett was a wonderful person to know - always ready with a smile and a laugh. I enjoyed working with Everett at Piedmont Federal and sharing many conversations until his retirement. May God grant you His peace. Sincerely, Susan Mabe (Piedmont Federal Savings Bank)

Evertett was my first manager when I started with Piedmont Federal in December 1988. I enjoyed working with him. He was a wonderful man, very honest and fair with everyone and always took the time to make each situation one we could all learn and grow from. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. May God wrap his arms around in the comfort only he can give.
