CLEMMONS - Mrs. Faye Lucille Teague Hinson, 75, of Clemmons, known to many as Pay-Pay, departed this life Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after an extended illness. She was born May 1, 1930, in Forsyth County to George Byron and Lula Hauser Teague. She was retired from Hanes Hosiery (Sara Lee) after many years of service. She loved to read and watch baseball and NASCAR. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Mae Teague; and two brothers, David and Roy Teague. Surviving are her husband, Manuel "Dutch" Hinson, of the home; a son, Steven Hinson, and wife Leslie of Tobaccoville; a daughter, Mindy Gunter, and husband Terry of Winston-Salem; eight grandchildren, Joy, Steven, Matthew and Magan Hinson and Romey, Austin, Christian and Savannah Bradshaw; two great-grandchildren, Chelsea Hinson and Caleb Thompson; three sisters, Margaret Williard, Molly Harris of Winston-Salem and Judy Brooks of Greenville, S.C.; and three brothers, George Teague and Terry Teague of Winston-Salem and Jerry Teague of Rock Bridge Baths, Va. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, with the Rev. Virgil Chitty officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening, June 24, at Vogler & Sons Clemmons Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Peter Cullen of Winston-Salem Health Care and the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
