In loving memory of a special husband, father and pawpaw, Fred "Jerry" Grady Jr. passed away peacefully at home Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the age of 67, after a tiring battle with Renal cell carcinoma. Jerry was born on June 19, 1957, in California. He is lovingly survived by his wife and soulmate of 50 years, Lisa; his daughters, Kristin and Ashley. He leaves behind his only granddaughter and beloved "bestest friend", Ava Elizabeth Grady (nine); mother-in-law, Margaret "Mammy" Wall; brother, James Robert Grady (Patty); and sisters, Carol, Donna and Denise.
Jerry was a master of many crafts. With remarkable talent, he had the extraordinary ability to dissect complicated problems and distill them into simplicity. His warm smile, generous spirit and open-hearted nature touched the lives of everyone who met him and brought joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves us with a beautiful legacy filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories that we will always hold dear.
The genuine worth of a person lies in the love they extend to others; in their willingness to selflessly give whatever they can to support those in need. It's reflected in the thoughtful way they uplift those around them with a kind word, a bit of humor, a heartfelt compliment, a patient ear, or even the very shoes off their feet. This beautifully reflects the essence of Jerry.
