Gary Grady Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Bald Knob on Mar. 19, 2026.
Gary Don Grady, age 81, of Judsonia, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on March 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was born on April 2, 1944, in Truman, Arkansas, to the late Raymond and Mary Grady. On December 10, 1993, he married the love of his life, Dorothy "Dot" Grady, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unwavering devotion.

A master electrician by trade, Gary was known for his skill, precision, and dedication to his work. Beyond his profession, he was a man of many talents-an accomplished cattle farmer, builder, and woodworker. He found joy in working with his hands and took pride in everything he created and maintained.

Gary was a faithful Christian who loved studying the Bible and deepening his understanding of his faith. He was an avid reader, always seeking knowledge and wisdom. Above all, he was an extremely hardworking man and a devoted caretaker of his family, always putting their needs before his own.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy "Dot" Grady; his children, Scott Grady, Jason Grady with wife Christina, Heather Grady, and Brandie Walker; his cherished grandchildren, Oliver Grady, Matias Grady with wife Haley, Payton Grady, Skylar Chasteen with husband Kyle, and Brylen Walker; and his great-grandchildren, Hunter Chasteen and Kypton Chasteen. He is also survived by his sisters, Beverly Harper and Pam Herman with husband Alan; and his brother-in-law, Dewey King.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary Grady, and his sister, Janet King.

Gary will be remembered for his faith, his tireless work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
