Gary Wise Obituary

WISE MARION, VA - Gary Eugene Wise, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 in the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Richlands, Virginia to the late Eugene C. & Hazel Armstrong Wise. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Kell Wise. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the South Stokes Church of Christ in King, NC. Survivors include: one son, Richard Mullins & Melissa Whitt of King, NC; one brother: Larry & Shirley Watson Wise of King, NC; grandchildren: William Mullins, Kendra & Gregory Stamper; one great-grandchild, Aniah Garnsey; and niece & nephew: Sharon Lynn Wise & Larry D. Wise, II. Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Hutton officiating. Interment will follow in the Ridgedale Cemetery in Rich Valley with Full Military Honors rendered by the Francis Marion V.F.W. Post 4667. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-12 p.m. at the funeral home. Online expressions of sympathy may be conveyed to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley's Funeral Home of Marion is serving the family of Mr. Wise.
