KERNERSVILLE - Harvey Browning, 95, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Browning was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dura Pearman Browning. Surviving are a brother, Clarence Browning (Juanita) of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Helen Martin (Bobby) of Kernersville; a son, Wilson Browning (Lee Ann) of Summerfield; two grandchildren, Dana Wells (Mark) and Kevin Browning (Kelly); two great-grandchildren, Grayson Browning and Avery Wells; and a special neighbor and caregiver, Carolyn Shoemaker. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at Bethel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Danny Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service. Memorials may be directed to Bethel United Methodist Church, 8424 Haw River Road, Kernersville, NC 27284.
