Ms.Dorminy taught me how to dance when Iwas 3 all the way up till Iwas about 12.She was an inspiration to me and everyone else. She is the only person I have ever known to be able to do a split in her 90s.She will be missed but never forgotten.

Ms. Dorminy touched more lives than most anyone I know from this area. She was certainly an important part of my life for many, many years. I, too, will never forget the sound of those keys, or that little silver whistle! She was a truly a great lady – and a lady in every sense of the word. She will live in my heart forever. My love and condolences to Judy, Mallory, and the rest of the gang.

There are very few people, from this area, who did not know Ms. Dormany. Fascinating story teller, long time teacher, tough and tender. I can still hear the jingle of her keys! Sincere and kind thoughts your way at this time.

My condolences to the family. I was a student at Dorminy Studios from 1963-1969. I well remember Miss Jackie checking our arm and leg positions and tapping her cane. She was an original.

My condolences to Miss Jackie's family. I was a dance student at Dorminy's in the late 1950's and will always remember the vivacious Miss Jackie.
